These notes go into the topic of Modernism. Modernism began in the early 20th century before finishing in the 1960s. It was the new era of art and it transformed the world of the everyday human like though clear thinking and a fresh perspective.

This is part 3 of The Emergence of Photography.

What I learned in the lecture about the lure of shadows is how a person can see different perceptions in a range of various degrees varying from none, to the whole perception; and everything in between. In this lecture I understood the link between imagery and reality, and how these two can become blurred.

This goes into section one of the notes of The Emergence of Photography. It goes into detail of the first photograph, as well as how photographed were stages in previous old times.
